Nathan Baumgartner

Reservoir Engineer at DeGolyer and MacNaughton

Nathan C. Baumgartner works as a reservoir engineer for DeGolyer and MacNaughton in the North America Division. Prior to joining D&M, he worked as a reservoir engineer at Moyes & Company.

Baumgartner earned his bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2018. In December 2022, he earned his master’s degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University. His research primarily focused on production forecasting in unconventional reservoirs. Baumgartner is a member of the SPE.
