During the first two days, the participants immersed themselves in the role of refining in the scenario of the energy transition.
Regulatory trends; the role of petrochemicals in the energy transition; review of global energy scenarios; climate change and energy transition; the future of the downstream sector in Latin America, and technological developments were some of the topics addressed during this meeting.
This module was led by instructors Felipe Pérez and Debnil Chowdhury from S&P Global. This edition also included the participation of Karen Jones, Marisa Denosowicz, Oscar Moran, Manuel Flores, Rina Quijada and Kurt Barrow as special guests, who shared their perspectives and experiences.
On the third day of the Leadership Program, participants made a technical visit to the Deer Park refinery.
The third module, which completes the 100% face-to-face training, will take place in Monterrey, Mexico, from November 28 to 30, 2023 and its main topic will be Gas and Renewable Energies.
The main objective of Arpel Leadership Program is to provide industry professionals in Latin America with a broad vision of the industry´s future and the skills required to solve problems.
