Colombia fue sede del primer módulo del Programa Arpel de Alta Gerencia, que continuará en setiembre en Houston

Profesionales de Ancap, Cupet, Ecopetrol, GeoPark, OCP Ecuador, Tecpetrol e YPF comenzaron su formación en la nueva edición del Programa Arpel de Alta Gerencia, el cual tendrá a Colombia, Estados Unidos y México como países sede de los tres módulos 100% presenciales.

El Módulo 1 dedicado a “Factores globales y su efecto en el sector upstream de Latinoamérica” tuvo lugar del 30 de mayo al 1° de junio en Bucaramanga. En esta oportunidad, los participantes además de contar con dos jornadas para el estudio de casos, simulaciones y sesiones interactivas con expertos de petróleo y gas, pudieron realizar una visita técnica al Instituto Colombiano del Petróleo (ICP) de Ecopetrol.

El principal objetivo del Programa Arpel de Alta Gerencia consiste en brindarle a los profesionales de las empresas del sector en América Latina -que reportan al presidente o vicepresidente- una visión amplia del futuro de la industria además de habilidades para la resolución de problemas.

Bob Fryklund, Vice President and Chief Strategist Upstream Energy, y Rodrigo Vaz, Director Upstream Research, de S&P Global, fueron los instructores de este primer módulo en el cual se abordaron las temáticas: ¿Cómo se verá el futuro del negocio energético?; ¿Qué están haciendo las empresas globales y regionales para cumplir con las NDC y los objetivos bajos en carbono?; ¿Cómo analizar los portafolios de las empresas del upstream?, y ¿Qué está impulsando la rentabilidad del mercado de valores?, entre otras.

El Módulo 2 se llevará a cabo del 13 al 15 de setiembre en Houston y será sobre: El papel de la Refinación en el panorama de la Transición Energética y la Seguridad Energética, con una visita técnica a la refinería Deer Park.
