Cómo seguir siendo rentable en un entorno de bajos precios del petróleo
Los precios del petróleo han mostrado una caída pronunciada y prolongada desde el año 2014, reduciendo los márgenes y obligando de esta manera a la industria a reestructurarse y reinventarse para sostener las operaciones y los niveles de inversión. Entre enero de 2014 y junio de 2016, los recortes en los presupuestos de CAPEX para la exploración y producción de petróleo y gas de grandes compañías de Latinoamérica se desplomaron en aproximadamente un 30%. En este escenario, ARPEL desarrolló el taller “Cómo seguir siendo rentable en un entorno de bajos precios del petróleo” que congregó a profesionales de 17 empresas, en Lima, PERÚ, el 11 de noviembre de 2016, con el fin de intercambiar y discutir las diferentes alternativas que han tomado las empresas para operar en un nuevo escenario deprecios, del cual se sintetizan las conclusiones en el presente informe.
