Community Relations Management System- Manual for Building Relationships with Indigenous People
Oil and gas companies operating in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) develop their business in a region of great energy potential, as valuable resources lie in geological structures underground or in sedimentary basins. However, there are other natural/biological and sociocultural factors which make this region unique for this industry and this manual which is part of the Community Relations Management System analyzes the topic of involvement with Indigenous People given the importance of this kind of communties where industry operates.
