Arpel participated in the latest edition of the Peru Energy Congress, held at the end of May, which served as a platform to present the White Paper published by Arpel on Just Energy Transitions to local professionals.

On this occasion, Irene Alfaro, Managing Director of Arpel and Coordinator of the Energy Transitions Committee, shared the main ideas developed in the document, which describes the consensus position of Arpel member companies on the concept of just energy transitions in Latin America.

"Energy interconnection between countries is key to accelerating the energy transition, leveraging idle infrastructure, resources, and complementarities between countries," highlighted Alfaro during her keynote speech.

The White Paper was developed within the scope of Arpel's Energy Transitions Committee and will be presented throughout the year at various regional events.
