Outcomes of the 7th. Conference of the Parties in Marrakech. The Seventh Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP-7) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change concluded last November 10. The mandate in Marrakech was to finalize all issues left unresolved at COP-6 and COP-6 bis, including some that were highly technical and others that had been left somewhat ambiguous in the Bonn political agreement last July. The outcome of COP-7 was agreement on all the operational details in a package of deals referred to as Marrakech Accords.
