ARPEL and its member companies are committed to the search for a just energy transition in Latin America and the Caribbean. We recognize the importance of balancing the path of environmental sustainability with social and economic development. We believe that by promoting a competitive environment to attract investment, providing adequate financing, and fostering collaborative dialogue, we can achieve a just energy transition that benefits all stakeholders and contributes to building a sustainable future in the region. The document is subdivided into eight chapters plus conclusions, which - in general - include an analysis of the current scenario, focusing on the conditions of developing countries and the specificities of the region.
