The International Petroleum Industry Environmental ConservationAssociation (IPIECA) has developed this guidance document on fuelsulphur to assist developing countries in addressing the challengesrelated to the reduction of sulphur levels in transportation fuels, anddiscusses appropriate strategies and options to address these issuesbased on local circumstances. The report is the third of a reportseries prepared by the IPIECA Fuels and Vehicles Working Group. Theseries aims to provide decision makers with background and guidance onaddressing fuels and vehicles issues in the context of an overall airquality management framework.
