Objectives:

• Present the International Guide for the Assessment of Oil Spill Response Planning and Preparedness and describe the functionalities of the new Web Application of the RETOS™ tool (Readiness Evaluation Tool for Oil Spills) used by governments and industry in more than 100 countries around the world. The Guide and the web application were recently developed jointly by ARPEL, the International Maritime Organization and Ipieca.

• Evaluate the results of the priority survey of ARPEL member companies on spill planning and response issues with a view to relaunching the ARPEL Emergency Response Planning Project Team in order to define its 2024+ action plan.
