The Caribbean Energies and Investment Summit, 1– 3 November 2023, Barbados is organised in partnership with the Government of Barbados and under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy and Business. Co-hosted by BNOCL, NPC, Invest Barbados, and Export Barbados under the theme, ‘Sustainable Energy Paths for the Caribbean’ the summit is designed to promote and facilitate energy security, reliability and affordability and deliver sustainable energy and investment paths for the Caribbean.
As Caribbean nations seek ways to update and replace legacy infrastructure, much of which is locked into oil use, ergo carbon intensive and subject to fluctuating and high energy prices, there is a real opportunity for a new path. The Caribbean Energies and Investment Summit will deliver an annual must attend event for the Caribbean, by the Caribbean where regional and international energy companies, investors, developers, and technology providers can meet, collaborate, and agree benchmarks and actionable outcomes in line with Vision to 2030 and Net Zero Emissions by 2050. A new path that delivers democracy of energy supply, supercharged regional collaboration and decarbonisation to create a sustainable energy future and an example to the world.
