ENAP fue sede de Taller Arpel sobre “Mejores Prácticas en los Procesos Medioambientales de las Refinerías”

ENAP fue sede del Taller de Intercambio de Mejores Prácticas en los Procesos Medioambientales de las Refinerías, el cual tuvo lugar del 6 al 8 de noviembre en Concón, Chile.

El encuentro impulsado por el Comité de Refinación de Arpel reunió a personal de operación, ingenieros de procesos, jefes de planta, responsables de mantenimiento e inspección, así como a encargados de las relaciones con las comunidades y profesionales de proveedoras de servicios del sector de toda la región.

La industria de la refinación de América Latina y el Caribe, en el marco de la transición energética, el cambio climático y la percepción de las comunidades sobre la industria, enfrenta el desafío de operar sus unidades de forma eficiente y sostenible para asegurar la competitividad y la seguridad energética de sus países.

El intercambio de mejores prácticas y de conocimiento entre profesionales de distintas empresas es un factor clave para alcanzar este objetivo, y es la misión encomendada a Arpel por las empresas socias.

“En un contexto donde la transición energética es una prioridad, reconocemos que nuestra industria es imprescindible”, expresó Ricardo Buyatti, gerente de Downstream de Arpel.

La apertura del taller contó con la presencia de Gloria Maldonado, Presidenta del Directorio de ENAP, y de Julio Friedmann, Gerente General de ENAP.

La agenda tuvo 4 ejes temáticos: Responsabilidad Legal; Mejores prácticas en la reducción de Slop, nuevos aditivos y disposición final; Sistemas de Tratamiento Biológicos, y Optimización del consumo de agua, los cuales fueron presentados por representantes de ENAP, YPF, Halliburton, PAE, Ecopetrol, Honeywell UOP, Becht, Nalco Water, Worley Comprimo y SGS Sulphur Experts.

Como parte del programa, el taller incluyó una visita a la Refinería Aconcagua y al humedal de la desembocadura del río Aconcagua.
