WEBINAR ON "THE OIL AND GAS SECTOR IN THE FACE OF PEAK-OIL DEMAND IN LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN" BY CHEVRON, BP, OLADE AND IHS-MARKIT

On November 12, the live webinar “The Oil and Gas Sector Faced with Peak Oil Demand in Latin America and the Caribbean” was held by Chevron, BP, Olade, and IHS-Markit.

The objective of the virtual meeting was to present the decarbonization scenarios in the Region from the perspective of companies in the oil and gas sector, based on the latest international benchmark studies and the role of regulatory frameworks.

The webinar was delivered by Arthur Lee, Senior Technical Advisor on Climate Change for Chevron's Energy Transitions Team, Sustainability and Corporate Strategy Group; Jorge León, Economist specialized in energy at BP; Alfonso Blanco, Executive Secretary of Olade, and Felipe Pérez, Director and Downstream Strategist for the Americas of IHS-Markit.
