WORKSHOP FOR ARPEL MEMBERS ON PROCESS SAFETY MANAGEMENT BY TEMA LITOCLEAN AND YPF

  • On November 17, ARPEL’S Health, Environment and Safety Committee started a series of virtual workshops on Process Safety Management exclusively addressed to the association’s members.

These meetings are intended for all professionals who work on areas where safety is particularly important: operational site personnel, safety and environment professionals, etc., and their main objective is to raise awareness and promote the sharing of information on Process Safety related topics.

The first topic discussed was Crisis and Emergency Management and its different aspects: emergency management, crisis management and business continuity. Over 90 professionals from 20 organizations participated in this discussion.

The agenda consisted of two presentations: a theoretical one by Raúl Manga, TEMA Litoclean Industrial Safety and Processes Manager, and a second one with practical cases and lessons learned delivered by Hernán Luna, YPF Maritime and Fluvial Emergency Manager. Both TEMA Litoclean and YPF are members of ARPEL.

The virtual workshop ended with a space for discussion among the participants.
