GeoPark becomes an ARPEL member

  • Leading Latin American oil and gas exploration and production company GeoPark, which has assets in Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil and Argentina and has traded on the New York Stock Exchange since 2014, has joined ARPEL as an Active Member.

    GeoPark is the second largest oil producer in Colombia with almost 8% of the total national production.

    Since it was founded GeoPark has maintained an Integrated Value System known as SPEED that summarizes the company’s commitment to the five key areas of Safety, Prosperity, Employees, Environment and Community Development.

    At ARPEL, GeoPark will focus mainly on developing new projects and activities in the areas of Exploration & Production, Social Responsibility, Environment, Industrial Health & Safety, Communications, Climate Change and Cybersecurity.

    ARPEL is honored to have GeoPark as a new member, bringing further industry knowledge and experience in the region, as well as increasing the opportunities for professionals employed by member companies to share best practices.
