INTEGRATION OF ASSET MANAGEMENT AND MECHANICAL INTEGRITY ADDRESSED BY THE REFINING COMMITTE AT WEBINAR

  • On November 4, ARPEL Refining Committee carried out a new virtual workshop to exchange best practices on Integration of Asset Management and Mechanical Integrity, which was in charge of professionals from Profertil.

Profertil is a partnership between YPF and the Canadian fertilizer company Nutrien Ltd, which was established in 1997 to produce and market fertilizers and nitrogen compounds in Argentina.

The presentation was given by Claudio Pérez, Electronic Engineer and current Reliability and Inspection Supervisor, and Pablo Orozco, Mechanical Engineer and Static Equipment Inspector.

According to the experts, reliability, risk management, and mechanical integrity were integrated into the company, with Asset Management as their overarching theme.

This allowed them to have a homogeneous process and an integrating perspective, which facilitates risk management and operational continuity in a cost-effective way.
