ARPEL and the National Society of Mining, Petroleum and Energy of Peru sign memorandum of understanding to promote cooperation between both organizations

  • ARPEL recently signed an agreement with the National Society of Mining, Oil and Energy (SNMPE) in order to promote the exchange of experiences linked to the industry and the search for synergies in the technical activities developed by both associations that are aligned with their respective missions and objectives.

    The event was attended by the Executive Director of SNMPE, Mr. Pablo de la Flor, the Executive Secretary of ARPEL, Mr. Izeusse Braga, the Hydrocarbons Sector Manager of SNMPE, Ms. Janinne Delgado, and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of ARPEL, Mr. Benito Piñeiro.

    As regards the productive activities, SNMPE's mission is to promote the development of mining, hydrocarbon and electric power activities through the sustainable use of natural resources and the social development within the context of full respect for applicable legislation. Its mission is also to develop and seek that these activities are conducted in an increasingly competitive way; to be the institution of reference, and the authoritative opinion on subjects related to these three sectors; to promote the efficient development of mining, hydrocarbon and electric power activities, and to represent these sectors before institutions, and public and private legal persons.
