This document describes the experience gathered by ARPEL -and the oil and gas companies- in the last 15 years while exercising their social responsibility in Latin America. The document presents an analysis of the expectations and viewpoints of the parties of the tripartite dialogue and the activities developed to set the basis for the future socialenvironmental regulatory framework of oil and gas industry relations with indigenous peoples in Latin America. The outcomes of this tripartite dialogue will define future exploration and production (E&P) industry sustainability in the Region.
