Big Data, IIoT & Analytics in Oil & Gas: What can we do with this?

Innov@arpel presents WEBINAR AND LIVE Q&A SESSION

Date: October 2, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. (ART)

Speaker: Estanislao Irigoyen.

Terms such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Analytics have gained popularity in recent years, going outside the field of science fiction to move to concrete applications that contribute to solving specific business problems.

The digital transformation process spreading across all companies, migrating toward a vision of Industry 4.0, has been empowered with these technologies, and has generated levels of disruptive innovation making viable processes that were previously only achievable in times of "high prices."

The oil and gas industry is no exception to this rule. Low prices, decline in conventional reserves, exploitation of unconventional reservoirs have led to the need to improve processes in companies, and "intelligent techniques" have proved to provide value of such magnitude to the business that have resulted in a disruption in these last years.

This presentation will provide an overview of what these technologies are and some cases where they have been successfully applied in the oil and gas industry.
