Professionals of Enap, Lesmar, Oldelval, Pampa Energía, Shell, Sonacol and YPF participated in the third edition of the training course on "Evaluation of Programs to Address Oil Spills" using ARPEL Manual and the RETOS® tool, which was organized by ARPEL and the Argentine Oil and Gas Institute (IAPG).

IAPG in Buenos Aires was the venue of this training, held September 28-29, 2017, with the purpose of facilitating the development of skills to implement the use of RETOS® in the assessment of oil spill response planning and readiness, and at the same time providing alternatives to move from basic management stages to levels of excellence.

RETOS® (Readiness Evaluation/Excel Tool for Oil Spills) constitutes a unique assessment tool that provides guidance for operators in the oil and gas sector and in governments to verify their own oil spill preparedness and response management.

RETOS® has become an international reference on the subject, and is currently used by companies and governments in the five continents.
