RAÍZEN JOINS ARPEL PARTNERSHIP

  • In 2022, Raízen joins ARPEL as a new active member.

Raízen Argentina was created in 2018 from Raízen's purchase of Shell Argentina's downstream business. Its majority shareholders are Shell plc and Brazil's Cosan Group.

Its assets include the Buenos Aires Refinery, located in Dock Sud, the Lubricants Plant located in Barracas, the network of more than 800 filling stations, marine and aviation fuel businesses, asphalts and chemicals, as well as supply and distribution activities in Argentina.

A brand license agreement allows Raízen to operate with the Shell brand. Therefore, its customers continue to have access to the high quality products and services that have characterized the brand for more than 107 years of history in Argentina.

It is an honor for the Association to incorporate Raízen into the partnership, adding more industry professionals to work on key regional issues such as energy transitions, operational excellence and sustainable management.
