On this occasion, the terminal evaluated was Dock Sud, owned by YPF, which is located in the Province of Buenos Aires on the southern shore of Río de la Plata.

Dock Sud has a tank farm for liquid products, LPG spheres and tanks, and two river terminals with four berths.

Technicians from the following ARPEL member companies participated in this cross check: Axion Energy, EP Petroecuador, Pluspetrol, Recope, YPF and YPFB.

The main objective was to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement of the facility through the implementation of the checklist provided in ARPEL Reference Manual for Terminals Operation Management. It also seeks to promote the exchange among professionals of member companies who participate in the various cross checks.

The next cross check will be conducted from October 19 to October 23, 2015 in Puerto Balao, Ecuador, where the company to be evaluated will be EP Petroecuador and the evaluator will be YPF.
