INNOV@ARPEL PRESENTED WEBINAR ON INDUSTRIAL CYBERSECURITY DELIVERED BY MAXIMILLIAN KON OF WISEPLANT HQ

  • In mid-June, Innov@arpel, virtual platform developed by ARPEL (www.innovarpel.org) presented the webinar entitled "Industrial Cybersecurity Maturity Model and Total Cost of Control System Ownership” delivered by Maximillian Kon, CEO of WisePlant HQ.

    The webinar dealt with industrial cybersecurity, which was established as a new layer of security and discipline of industrial risks that must be managed. In this session, the foundation and bases to develop a correct assessment of the maturity process with regard to industrial cybersecurity were presented. In addition, the expert explained the impact of industrial cybersecurity on the total cost of control system ownership.

    A live session of questions and answers was held on June 18.

    Mr. Kon, a United States citizen, born in Memphis, Tennessee, residing in Argentina and Brazil, is the founder and CEO of WisePlant HQ. He is an Electronics Engineer specialized in control systems and telecommunications, and has developed his career in South America. He has more than 20 years of experience in industrial systems and critical systems in all types of industries, including oil, gas, energy, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and others.
