INNOV@ARPEL AT THE SECOND EDITION OF THE O&G TECHWEEK IN BRAZIL

  • In the framework of the O&G TechWeek, a technology event for the oil and gas industry, Miguel Moyano, Upstream Director of ARPEL, presented Innov@ARPEL, the virtual platform for innovation and technology developed by the Association with the purpose of promoting interaction between technology solutions providers (universities, R&D centers and suppliers of goods and services), and operators in the energy sector, especially in oil and gas.

    During the event, organized by the Brazilian Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels Institute (IBP) and held September 24-27 in Rio de Janeiro, Moyano presented a lecture entitled "ARPEL initiatives to make the future of the oil and gas sector viable in the context of digital transformation."

    Innov@arpel (www.innovarpel.org) is a platform for collaboration and business for the energy sector that brings supply and demand for innovation and technology closer from anywhere in the world.

    Moyano highlighted that this tool is a new channel of communication and networking where companies and organizations can disseminate their latest developments and innovations, whether related to technology or management issues.

    The users of Innov@arpel have access to all features (Opportunities for Technological Partnership, News, Publications, Forums, Courses and Events, In Mail, Map of Members, Surveys), which were designed to foster interaction between peers and to encourage the publication of contents of interest in any language.

    The tool has its own APP, available in Google Play and App Store, which allows notifying users about the latest contents published.

    Innov@arpel has 16 subject categories: Exploration, Upstream Production, Refining, Petrochemicals, Transportation, Terminals, Gas, Other Energies, Environment, Safety, Occupational Health, Industry 4.0, Sustainability, Management, Regulations and Supply Chain, in addition to outstanding issues.
