YPF Industrial Complex La Plata obtained ISO 50001 international certification for chemical production

  • The YPF Industrial Complex La Plata recently obtained the ISO 50001 international certification in the field of Management of Chemical Production after successfully implement its energy management system for the Aromatics, Olefins, Pib/Maleic and Auxiliary services units.

    The certification body audited the system whose development was led by the Energy Management group in the areas of chemical production, maintenance and crosscutting areas.

    After receiving this certification, YPF joined a selected group of companies in the country that initiated a path of excellence in the care of energy and environmental preservation.

    The development of this management system define energy indicators that enable monitoring the main consumption of the production units.

    Thus, contributes to implement actions in order to manage the consumption that allows to reduce energy costs and promote energy efficient practices.
